License Management FAQ
What is License Management?
License Management allows Global Registration Services to ask as your agent in maintaining your yearly state bedding licenses and other required reporting. Simply put, we’ll be your middleman so you don’t have to keep track of license statuses and renewals.

- $367.00/URN yearly for U.S. Stuffed Toy licenses
- $367.00/URN yearly for Importer licenses
How Does it Work?
After subscribing to License Management, simply send us your existing licenses with any current pending renewal notices. We'll have you sign a request form that we’ll send out to each of the states directing them to change the contact name and address on your record to name Global Registration Services, Inc. as your agent. Updated licenses, future renewals, and reports will be sent to Global.
When renewals are received from a state, we’ll invoice you for the renewal fee only -- no additional fees! In addition to maintaining your licenses, a few states require that additional information be provided (sales/shipped information). In these cases, we will contact you for this information before invoicing you. We’ll notify you via email of the invoice, and you will have the option to pay online using a credit card, U.S. check, or wire transfer. Once payment is received, we submit your payment to the state to renew the license.
You’ll be provided with up to date license information including the license number, effective date and expiration dates, and a downloadable PDF file of each license in your online login account. We'll keep your records updated as new licenses are renewed and received. You'll conveniently have your license data from anywhere with an Internet connection.
How do I subscribe?
There are 2 ways to get License Management:
1) Global Can Take Over Your Existing Licenses - simply click the 'Subscribe URN' link in the License Management menu.
2) With new Registration - you can select the option to add this service when you generate a quote for new registration and let GRS be your agent right from the start.
What if I want to cancel the service?
If you want to cancel the service because you no longer require the licenses or wish to take over the task yourself, we simply reverse the process. You’ll sign a request form directing the states to change the contact name and address from GRS?to yours. From this point you will have an allotted amount of time to download all your license data before the data becomes inaccessible. All future renewals and licenses will be sent to you.
Our licenses have not been managed very well lately, and many are expired. What can you do?
If your licenses need to be brought back to a current status before they can be properly managed, ask us about our CLUE service to “Clean Up Expired” licenses. We can work with the states to get the proper documentation and information needed to bring your license up to date. Note: An additional cost for this service and late fees for expired licenses may apply.

Subscribe now by logging in or creating a new account. From the Welcome page, click the “Subscribe Now” button in the License Management ad on the right. You may also click the 'Subscribe URN' link in the License Management menu and simply follow the provided instructions.
